History:
Rab Rodgers Field is the home field of the Ouachita Baptist Tigers of the NCAA D2 Gulf South Conference.
The field, which opened in 1960, is located on campus at Ouachita Baptist and is named after R.D. “Rab” Rodgers, a long time baseball and football coach at OBU. It was named in his honor in 1966 shortly after his death.

Rab Rodgers Field has undergone major renovations in recent years, prior to which a large metal bleacher was the field’s only feature. That bleacher was turned into a grandstand after the 2006 season when it was completely bricked and 240 chair backs were added.

Also included in the renovations were the Evan A. French Press Box, which sits atop the grandstand and features private suites, a concession stand, located underneath the grandstand, and new dugouts. Two metal bleachers have also been added on either side of the grandstand recently

Rab Rodgers Field, though far from the best, is one of the better collegiate baseball facilities in the state.
